DoSeum Doing More for the Community with Vital Life Wellness Center
On March 5, 2016 Dr. Gonzalez and Dr. Seda along with her Peak Team Members and amazing staff members hosted a Brain Health Talk at a local kids attraction in San Antonio, Texas. The DoSeum. The event had over 200 attendees including 112 prospects. The attendees that were not prospects consisted of referring doctors, families, and the Vital Life Wellness Center providers.
The Vital Life Wellness team thought of everything. From keeping the kids entertained, to enlisting help, and tying the event to a charity documentary. They secured vendors that provided snacks, games, and entertainment for the kids all at no cost. Some vendors at the event even paid to have a booth. They enlisted 16 people to run the event agenda many of which were practice member volunteers that were thanked for their contribution with $50 gift cards. Lastly Documenting Hope was brought in to tie back the event to the community and to demonstrate the epidemic of the chronic illness in children.
In order to rally up the crowd several different types of marketing were used including the Kids Camp Health Fair, Backpack Connection Magazine (cover of magazine, article ad half page ad/advertorial), KSAT Segment (9 minute slot/ $1200), radio appearance, boots on the ground marketing, and marketing to their herd.
At the end of the night it was evident that the event was a success with 4 lines of prospects lined up for consults! They had 35 people signup and pay that evening for the initial consult. So far they have conducted 11 ROF’s and closed 8! With this kind of success the Vital Life Team is already looking to team up with the Magik Theater for their next big community event!
Insider Tips:
- Ensure that you have enough people on hand to schedule people after big events. 8 people minimum for a crowd this large.
- Plan enough time at the end of the talk to sign everyone up.
- Communicate clear expectations from all vendors and charity partners.
