The Role
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Business Technology & Innovation who will lead the optimization of our internal technology stack, training, and adoption. This role is equal parts system builder, educator, and innovation leader. You will ensure that the tools our 40-person team relies on—HubSpot, ClickUp, Mighty Networks Pro, Office 365, and others—become accelerants to our business instead of roadblocks.
As the bridge between executive leadership and technical resources, you will translate business needs into clear requirements, implement integrated solutions, and drive organizational adoption. You will also spearhead AI enablement, working with our AI partner (DiviUp) to ensure automation and AI-powered processes are identified, piloted, and adopted.
This is a Director-level role that reports directly to the COO/CEO and works closely with leaders across the Freedom Practice Coaching ecosystem (FPC, Vibility, and Aptogenix).

Responsibilities
The required job responsibilities include, but may not be limited to, the following:
Training, Documentation & Support
- Design and deliver training programs to equip team members with the skills to fully utilize HubSpot, ClickUp, Office 365, Mighty Networks, and other tools.
- Create and maintain SOPs and documentation for system processes and workflows.
- Support onboarding of new hires with standardized technology training.
Software Management & Optimization
- Serve as system administrator and Subject Matter Expert for HubSpot, ClickUp, Mighty Networks Pro, and Office 365.
- Build automations, workflows, templates, and integrations to create seamless team processes.
- Partner with outsourced IT vendor to ensure infrastructure and security needs are covered.
- Evaluate and recommend new tools that improve efficiency and align with business needs.
Process Improvement & Change Management
- Analyze workflows across departments and recommend technology-driven solutions.
- Lead organizational change efforts when adopting new tools or processes.
- Function as translator between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
AI Utilization & Innovation
- Partner with DiviUp to identify high-value AI use cases, pilot automations, and ensure adoption across teams.
- Train team members in effective AI use, including prompt engineering and workflows.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in AI and automation, bringing ideas to the executive team.
Strategic Contributions
- Participate in strategic planning sessions, ensuring technology supports growth goals across FPC, Vibility, and Aptogenix.
- Provide reporting and dashboards to executives that improve data-driven decision-making.
- Build a culture of innovation where technology accelerates—not hinders—performance.
Required Skills and Experience
- Expert-level proficiency with HubSpot, ClickUp, and Microsoft 365 (Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Excel).
- Proven experience building internal training programs and driving adoption across a team.
- Strong background in workflow automation, integrations (Zapier, APIs, middleware), and reporting dashboards.
- Demonstrated success leading technology change management in a multi-department organization.
- Hands-on experience deploying AI tools (prompt engineering, automation pilots, virtual agents).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an educator’s mindset.
- Strong project management skills with ability to manage priorities across multiple companies.
- Proven ability to act as translator between executives, business teams, and technical resources.
Reporting Structure
Reports to: COO/CEO
Collaborates with: CTO (on dev/data), outsourced IT vendor (Tahoe Tech), AI partner (DiviUp), and executive team
Work Environment and Location
Full-time position
Availability requirement: Be accessible via email and internal communication tools Monday through Friday, covering at least 60–80% of the US Central Time Zone business hours to ensure seamless collaboration and support. Additionally, be available to address critical issues or emergencies outside regular hours, as needed.
Location dependent: You may also be required to attend in person quarterly conferences held by FPC twice per year as a technical resource.
Position Details:
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Location: Remote (U.S.-based preferred)
- Compensation: $125k-$140k/per year+ (based on experience, value and expertise)
