Gaining Traction: Progress through Perseverance & Unwavering Faith

When Meghann first heard about Trivida during her first date with Corey back in April of 2013, she encouraged him to pursue his dream of starting the business that would integrate fitness, nutrition and health care. As a marketing and business expert, Meghann not only assured Corey that she would assist him in his mission, but also left her job at a luxurious architecture firm in order to help him see it through.

Corey had dedicated nearly a decade to wellness development, transitioning from a pro-football athletic trainer to a Physician Assistant working in family practices and emergency rooms. He wanted to make an impact in people’s lives but realized that traditional medicine had barriers that prevented him from helping others the way he knew he could.

Within two months of meeting, Meghann and Corey Feldman started what is now Trivida Functional Medicine as a fitness studio that gave free medical consultations; and within three years, Corey began his path into functional medicine. That path is what led them into a conversation with Diane Mueller and Miles Nicholas.

“We met them, and they were telling us what they charge,” Meghann said. “I was like, you charge what? How is this possible? So, they told us all about FPC. I called the next day and had my initial discovery call.”

They were business owners and newlyweds who were overworked and exhausted. They had aspirations of financial stability when they took the leap and joined FPC in 2017.

“We were living with Corey’s parents because we couldn’t afford to live on our own,” Meghann said. “So, the thought that one day we’d be able to rent an apartment or buy a house was a light at the end of the tunnel. I don’t think we ever had any fear, we just jumped in.”

“Well the fear was that we had no money at the time,” Corey said. “FPC was asking for what they’re absolutely worth, but when when your bank account is basically zero and you’ve got to put it all on credit, it’s scary. But I knew I loved medicine, I knew I loved helping people, and I knew I had to do something. I wanted this so bad and I was willing to give anything to have it. So that’s what we did.”

The couple experienced several wins within their first year at FPC including paying off their debt and renting an apartment. Two months after joining, they had their first 50K month and realized they had made a good decision.

“We were giving better care and making more money, Corey said. “It was unfathomable. I remember the first time I closed my first client for 6K, I was just flabbergasted.”

After three years in the program, Meghann and Corey continue to seek growth for themselves and for their business. They are now homeowners, their yearly revenue has increased by over 500K, and they lead a team who is helping them in their mission of changing lives. In their pursuit of living a life they have always dreamed of, Corey discovered that wealth goes beyond the walls of financial stability.

“It’s doing what you want to when you want to, without any inhibitions. That’s wealth. I don’t think there is a dollar amount you can put on that. It’s having the health and ability in your body and mind to do whatever you want, whenever you want.”

Though they have been able to cross off several items from their list of goals, Meghann and Corey explain that they still experience struggles and they still have to constantly work to overcome challenges.

“Sharing my message in a way that’s inspiring instead of just doctor talk is still a struggle to this day,” Corey said. “The ability to excel myself and work on an inspiring message to get people in the door is the biggest thing FPC gave me.”

“It’s not always going to be perfect, Meghann said. “You’re going to have good months, months that blow your mind. And then there’s going to be months that are harder than you would ever imagine. There’s going to be times when you’re closing, like it’s nobody’s business and then there’s going to be times when you can’t close anybody. It’s staying the course and having unwavering faith.”

The FPC veterans pointed out several reasons why the program is invaluable such as the investment payoff, the education, and the connection within the group. In hearing them speak, it was clear which of those resonated the most with Meghann.

“The community is unmatched. There’s truly no competition within FPC. We are all on the same mission to change lives across the world.”
