Vast Visions Await This Super Squad

“At six years old I fell in love with my pediatrician and knew I wanted to be a doctor.”

Susan Lovelle, MD at Premiere Wellness in Releigh, NC is fully aware of the impact that health professionals have on the lives of others. Although she spent nearly 20 years of her life traveling the world as a studious ballet dancer, when the time came to buckle down and make a career choice, she refocused her energy on her first love; medical school.

“Dancing was really cool but always felt like a side thing, so the transition felt more like coming home.”

Susan made her healthcare debut as a plastic surgeon and ran a solo practice for several years before realizing that her passion lied in helping people make substantial health gains in order to live vibrant and joyful lives. Though this ignited her shift into functional medicine, she found it difficult to make progress in the field.

“People don’t know they need functional medicine. I started from scratch and struggled big time.”

After a conversation with Danielle Chandler at the North Carolina Integrated Medical Society conference, Susan went into an FPC fact finding mode that led her to an in-person Discovery Day in San Antonio.

“I came down in February. I was ecstatic because I had been trying so hard to generate an audience and didn’t have one. When I walked in, I felt the whole atmosphere of how everyone appreciated everyone in the organization. They knew what their role was and how important it was to the whole.”

David Allen, Susan’s son, moved across the country last August to join her team as the Executive Administrator and Transformation Consultant. He is a certified personal trainer and is currently working on obtaining his health coach certification.

“I always wanted to grow my practice with my family, and I wanted someone with experience that was personable and complimented the practice.”

Eleanor Riccardi, part-time Practice Coordinator, works remote from Boston, is experienced with functional medicine, and is wonderful at making connections with potential practice members.

Together, they celebrate wins, listen to trainings, brainstorm, and are evolving and finding ways to stay connected. This small but powerful team of three has a mission to support busy women professionals live an abundant and healthy lifestyle and believe that the people they help will in turn, have a positive impact on their loved ones.

“As they are healing, it has a ripple effect on their family and friends. We are helping more people than I was able to do as a plastic surgeon with a huge team.”

Susan heavily relies on her team to assist in carrying out this mission. She has an enormous amount of gratitude for what each person brings to the table and is looking forward to a successful future with them.

“They keep everything going. They make it possible for me to concentrate on my strengths and they come up with ideas and its awesome.”

Prior to joining FPC, Susan was at her wits end. She was struggling, out of options, and had even began to search for potential job positions. FPC not only gave her hope but has allowed her to generate more business each month than the one before.

“I was trying to build my practice on my own. I didn’t know what to do or how to do it. I was straight up struggling. FPC was the absolute best thing. One week, I did better than I had the entire previous year. Everything turned around so quick.”

Aside from her practice having grown financially, Susan also credits FPC for how she has grown personally and professionally. She has gained confidence, believes in her programs, and knows that what she is doing is changing lives.

“Before, I had programs that were much smaller, but I didn’t believe in myself. It’s not just the knowledge, but also the mindset. It’s a combination of both. Now, I have that confidence that what I am doing is actually changing lives.”

Susan spoke passionately about the camaraderie within FPC and was certain that the mission to change 10 million lives would be achieved.

“I’m already in that mission. I’m doing what lights my fire in a way that helps others. If everyone at FPC is doing that, there is no way that we couldn’t hit those kinds of numbers.”
